Polish Skrybot.pl and Humanway.pl, Hungarian Joobili.com and Lithuanian MyPolitIQ.eu are the most promising e-business ideas in Middle and Eastern Europe. These projects have recently won the Mini Seedcamp contest in Warsaw and they will be presented this September in Great Britain during the main Seedcamp event, the winner of which will receive 50 000 euro and three months of priceless advisement and assistance of specialists from all over the world. Apart from that they already have the opportunity to attract investor interest and to get funds necessary for development.
20 teams from Poland, Hungary, Lithuania and Ukraine along with 60 mentors from all over Europe have debated at the Agora Center in Warsaw about the internet start-ups and their chances of succeeding in times of economic crisis. The best start-ups from this region of Europe have been chosen as well. Among the winners are a Polish application for recruitment management and a Polish software for processing of speech to text, a Hungarian holiday planner searching for interesting cultural events for its owners and a Lithuanian website for politicians and voters.
